How to split large files into smaller chunks

 

Start the rejoin process on secondary machine by clicking on the Join Files tab

Step 6:

-  On the secondary machine begin the rejoin process of the chunk files by opening the program, clicking on the Join Files tab, point the source chunk location to any chunk file and it will find the rest. Provide the destination directory and file name, then click on Join

At the end of the re join process, your destination folder will have the original file recreated

Step 8:

-  At the end of the join process, your destination folder will have the original file recreated.


In our case we got our SkiTripAdventure.avi file back worth 1.4 GB in size and we were able play it fine, making sure there was no corruption in the join process. The program automatically deletes the chunk files once the original file is restored.
