6. Upload the new Module directory (Google Analytics directory in our example) that was created in step 3 to the /sites/all/modules directory on the server

 7. Go to http://YourSiteName.com/update.php and run the update script by pressing the Continue button

8. Click on Select Versions dropdown to check if updates are available for the modules installed on your site. In this example, its showing that Google Analytics module has an update available 6301. Click on the Update button

9. No errors are shown in the Upgrade

10. Now go back to your http://yoursitename.com/admin/build/modules page and enable the Google Analytics modules by checking its checkbox and pressing save configuration. Notice how the new module shows the newer version

Now go back to your page and enable the Google Analytics module

11. You can now verify that no more module updates are available by going to the http://YourSiteName.com/admin/reports/updates page
