My Tracks is an application for Google Android enabled phones such as (t-Mobile's G1) which would let you record the trails you walk on (or create) using GPS. You can then share this data using Google maps, including time, speed, distance, elevation and distance with other hikers and users.
|With most of the GPS devices, you would need to hook them up to a computer, install the software, download the data and upload again to the servers. However, you can do all this with just one device now, that is your Android powered phone.|
My Tracks application is available through Googles online store Android Store, just turn on your phone, go to Android Market, search for My Tracks, install and you are off to the races!
