Vmware demonstrates how to install multiple Operating systems on Phones

Virtualization kingping VMware has just recently made waves as it entered the Phone market. VMware has succesfully demonstrated that you can be running multiple operating systems on the same phone using its technology, for example you can be running Windows CE and Google's Android running on the same phone at the same time. It happend at the VMworld 2009 Europe confrence where VMWare demonstrated how users can run Windows CE 6.0 and Google's Android on a Nokia N800 tablet. A video demonstration of this is available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNo6pn-dnSQ&eurl=http://www.windowsfordevices.com/news/NS8585815307.html

This is a great breakthrough, and although the results are not that spectacular right now because of device resource contraints but certainly it is a very promising technology which would free users from being tied to one kind of a platform, give them a chance to explore other platforms without having to buy and try it by buying a new cellphone.
VMWare has been developing this technology called Mobile Virtualization Platform , you can find more details at VMWares website located at http://www.vmware.com/technology/mobile/
