Internet Explorer does not save usernames and passwords

Sometimes IE does not save usernames and passwords this is either due to privacy settings or because the settings for "Auto Complete" are not turned on. See following for turning the settings on. Also, sometimes the "protected storage" service is not running which can cause this. If that too fails, then there could be a problem with a DLL, you can unregister and reregister the DLL by: Method 3: Register RSABase.dll This problem can occur if RSABase.dll is incorrectly registered. Use the following steps to reregister RSABase.dll: 1. Click Start, and then click Run. 2. In the Open box, type Regsvr32 /u RSABase.dll, and then click OK. The following RegSvr32 message appears: DllUnregisterServer in RSABase.dll succeeded. Click OK. 3. Click Start, and then click Run. 4. In the Open box, type Regsvr32 RSABase.dll, and then click OK. The following RegSvr32 message appears: DllRegisterServer in RSABase.dll succeeded. Click OK. If this too fails then try giving user a new profile 1. Start Internet Explorer. 2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. 3. Click the Content tab. 4. Under Personal information, click AutoComplete. 5. In the AutoComplete Settings dialog box, select the User names and passwords on forms check box (if it is not already selected), select the Prompt me to save passwords check box (if it is not already selected), and then click OK. 6. Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.
